Once again, I am being proved that 2002 is one of the best years for Trance! TM3005 offers up some great Trance ranging from Melodic to Hard to Progressive, with a tiny bit of Euro thrown in. There's a lot of originality, energy and emotion in this compilation, which pleases me to no end.
Notable favourites for me would have to be Armin van Buuren's gorgeously chilled remix of OceanLab - Sky Falls Down, the bangin' Dirt Devils Remix to Matt Cassar's rework of the classic "Seven Days & One Week", Mental Miracle's "Ocean Of Time" and "The Dawn" by Ultra Spin, another calm anthem which holds a certain beauty. These tracks really bring out what I love about Trance and Trancemaster 3005 offers so much more versatility than what can be found on the more recent volumes. To me, this Trancemaster is up there with 3007 in of quality listening.
