    I desire I desire
I pledge allegiance to the thought
That your love is all that matters
And your gestures have the power
To bring the whole world to its knees
    Don't let me torment you
Don't let me bring you down
Don't ever let me hurt you
    Don't let me fail because
    I desire your attention
    I desire your perfect love
I desire nothing more (than this)
    To give you happiness
    Could become a lifetime goal
A smile I might bring you
Is more important than world peace
I pledge allegiance to the fact
That you're wise to walk away
    For nothing is more dangerous
    Than desire when it's wrong

Honestly, this is just a personal quip, but I've never liked that album art.

I know part of Devo's aesthetic is absurdism, but there's a difference between absurdism and just bizarre. I don't know what they were trying to do here.

My copy of this variant sounds perfect, no noise at all, incredibly fun album

Does anyone else's copy of this not start in both ears until a split second in on side A? Side B starts in both ears fine, not sure what's up with that.

My copy has a lot of surface noise at the end of both sides but otherwise sounds really damn good. Love this album, easily my 2nd fave after the debut.

A lot of Devo fans seem to dismiss this LP (and anything after it).

Personally, as a fan of early 80's angular New Wave with plenty of synth, I love it!

Sure, it's not as "edgy" or punk as their earlier material. I don't care.

Highly recommended for fans of happy synth pop with a quirky touch!
