Maybe I got the Friday press? To me this remix is muddled, poor separation, and no way near as punchy as the original press. Why can’t these licensees leave well alone? There was absolutely no reason to fiddle with the original. Sad.
Remains one of the best punk albums of the era. IMO, Ruffy is the greatest drummer that era produced. A stunningly talented punk/soul/reggae/jazz virtuoso! -
The Ruts, in their short life, stood head and shoulders above most of their contemporaries, shame the singer had to die such a pointless death, imagine the riches that were still to come! This is an excellent sounding pressing of an excellent record, and one I reach for on a regular basis, pick it up if you see it.

Grat album. Very good remastering. Pressing is average. Overall a good buy. Sounds better than the first press IMHO
