My copy does not have the color border on the cover as pictured in the images. Just a white cover with the design in the middle.

I just received this –
pressing quality seems to be in line with other releases on this imprint. but i am a bit startled by the way the actual labels are affixed to the vinyl – side b looks fine, albeit a bit grainy/blurry – while side a has a (partly torn) label that was apparently glued on the surface after pressing and seems to be hand-cut, made with a consumer-grade inkjet printer…
tl;dr: Side A-Label looks homemade; does anyone else's copy has the same issues? -
Got pretty decent press, clean and centered. No pops at all.
Not the best Windows 96 album but not the worse synthwave record either. This kid is talented. -
For whatever it is worth, my copy is really clean and clear. I am having no issues with the sound quality. I’ve spun this album several times now, didn’t have to clean it, and haven’t heard any clicks, pops, skips, etc. Please keep the Windows96 vinyl issues coming!

Edited 6 years agoGreat album but man the vinyl sounds lousy. I'm experiencing a lot of pops and clicks/general surface noise even after cleaning. The spindle hole is super tight and the record is clearly warped. The record was scuffed and super dirty when I got it and was shipped with no protective sleeve and one folded up cardboard stiffener. The first record I got had a big scratch on the B-side. I got a replacement but the spindle hole and warpage remained.
I love you W96 but will be staying away from this label.
