Edited 3 years agoLike many period releases, the stereo release suffers from extreme wide-panning: Ms. Simone‘s voice on one channel, her piano on the other. I find this mono version much more enjoyable and ended up selling my SACD. This album never was an audiophile sensation, but within the limitations of the recording, the sound quality is excellent.
