I schooling a bunch of wannabe audio engineer dweebs on here when this came out a few years ago, who actually thought this wretched MOV pressing was superior to the ROG pressing.
MOV basically presses CDs and MP3s onto wax and fools goofus bedroom engineers into thinking their releases are quality.
The ROG pressing of Bloody Kisses absolutely smokes this MOV pressing in every way, shape and form. You can tell they actually put some backbone into the ROG release and didn't cut every corner possible the way this MOV pressing does. One comparison listen to this Digital Files On Vinyl release will prove to any audiophile worth his salt that the ROG pressing is THE superior vinyl pressing of Bloody Kisses, by a Brooklyn mile. -
had to re-order it twice to get the right vinyl colour, with booklet and printed inlay (cover without the band's and album's name). well, it came in a pretty thick good clear sleeve, vinyl is heavy as fuck and also the gatefold cartonstock... each detail and part of it appear "above casual level" and very durable and valuable. Sound is great, dynamics is there - far away from the worst possible outcome of compressed and remastered re-releases. this one is a gem, glad i went through the trouble with ordering. it seems - but that is not to blame on the label/this product - they fucked up at the pressing plant or elsewhere, cause telling from all the mistakes i 've been reading about there seems to be quite some chaos with missing parts, wrong colours etc. still a release so stunning it is far ahead of 95% of nowadays pressings.

Very bad experience with sound on vinyl digital stores that was the official distro, bought last november in pre-sale and never received. Now it's obviously sold out.

MOV pressings are usually fantastic, and this one is no exception.
Hope October Rust gets a re-release too. -
Just saw that it's limited to 6.666 pieces. So, I guess, I'll have to wait another 25 years to own this album on vinyl (at a humane price).

The term "gothic metal" on this release is like needles in my eyes..I was a fucker not to have bought this when it was originaly out, and i never bothered to get it in the meantime, till now..That being said, eyes closed, hand in heart, just buy this excellent edition of one of all time favs regardless the musice genre.

Received my copy today and I must say, that I am totally satisfied with it. The 8-page booklet is heavy quality, the gatefold is pretty nice as well and the sound is thoroughly splendid, full, dynamic and without any noticeable noise or other distracting interferences. I had great expectations towards the release and I must say, they were all met to the fullest. Nonetheless, I will go on the hunt for the Run Out Groove edition too. :D

Edited 6 years agoSilver DLP 2018 Press - Just got mine & played in full, great sound with very little surface noise. Matt G/fold sleeve with booklet & print in resealable sleeve, vinyl in black poly lined inner bags (not printed). Only issue I had was my copy has a couple of small nicks / marks on side 2 but played through fine. Can't compare with the ROG 3LP press as I've got sod all chance of getting a copy short of paying daft cash & huge shipping from the US. Top job done here.
