Loud pops on Soldier side all the way through even after cleaning, but they disappear on BYOB.
I dont mind the production here, its very 2005, but the bass drums are a bit muddy for an album with a good amount of double bass. -
Amazing sound for a cheap reissue. Lacks some bass here and there and the vocals are a bit muddy but other than that it's as good as it gets.

PHENOMENAL PRESS, great range and sound stage, with fantastic Bass on this pressing. An absolute joy to listen to every time.
-
Bit noisy between tracks or when the album is quieter, but it’s a solid pressing. Clipping/distortion is the world famous Rick Rubin treatment but there’s still much to enjoy in this pressing. It plays well, sounds good (despite the mixing issues) and is a good price (hovers around 20 on Amazon). Hopefully a better release will be available in the future but until then, this is more than serviceable.

No surface noise, no clicks or pops, and sounds huge with the extra dynamics (as opposed to the digital master). TT-DR 1.4 clocks this at DR10. Shame about the inner groove distortion.
-
Awesome sauce ! Sounds great and was an ethereal and otherworldly experience listening to this record.
-
Sounds perfect, thought the inner groove distortion was going to be wayyyy worse but it really wasn’t all that bad.

The cover is, indeed, pixelated, like they just stretched the original CD image; inner sleeve contains censored lyrics but I like the addition; record itself, I don't think it sounds tinny like some are saying, I actually quite like it, sounds more dynamic than on Spotify to me. But it has a serious problem of inner groove distortion towards the end, specially Side A. Overall a good pressing but could better.

Not as impressive as Toxicity (my copy is the 2018 US reissue), sadly. There's some surface noise easily noticeable on A1, both A5 and A6 have clipping on some vocals, but it's important to indicate that this already happens on the streaming with Radio/Video (Tidal Master being the comparison). Gladly, the songs' style and structure make this less abrasive to the ears, but it's clearly there. The vocals by the end of B5 are affected, as well, and here it's quite easier to notice (while the streaming version at least masquerades it more efficiently).
Overall, the streaming version sounds more detailed specially considering the additional instrumentation, so the vinyl becomes more of a souvenir and still lacking at that, since there's no special treatment to the (single) jacket with its very pixelated cover, additional info, photos, anything but an inner sleeve.
