I just purchased a version that's nearly identical to this one (including matrix/runout), but with a couple notable differences: Sony Music logo on back cover in addition to Epic and Legacy; correct vocals on "Roll Right." It's made in . Sticker on the shrinkwrap says "180 gram limited edition classic LP/High-definition virgin vinyl pressing for super fidelity/The nicest thing you can do for your stylus and your ears/The ultimate record: The way music was meant to be heard and great enough for an audiophile." Anyone else have this?

A/B testing this record along side the digital that came with the record, and the lack of bass in the pressed record becomes very apparent. Crisp high-end, weak low end.

Great press, sounds like RATM. And it's beefy as hell with the Xtra Bass switched on, thumps good. Can't wait to get my hands on the other releases.

This cut sounds a bit dull and harsh to my ears. This is due in no small part to the actual mixing in the first place; their self-titled was just a better mixed album and it transfers beautifully to whatever medium. Evil Empire is a bit more fussy . . .

Has anyone noticed that the vocals for both verses on "Roll Right" are not the same as on the original album? The lyrics on the liner notes have the correct words from the original, but on this record for some reason the lyrics are not the same. They sound like a rough draft and even have some of the lyrics from "Down Rodeo" on the them. All the instrumentation and even the chorus is correct, but the verses are not. That really bothers me. It's too bad because up until that point I was really happy with the overall sound quality and experience. How in the hell did that happen?

Well. It sounds nice but not amazing. Correct I would say. More mediums, especially for the bass guitar. It sounds maybe sharpier on some parts but less heavy and more flat.
