Edited 3 years agoI picked this one up mostly for the title track, which is amazing by the way, but "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is the real hero here. So fine, Willie.
Overall, just a wonderful album of Willie's interpretations of some meaningful songs, some quite somber.
Willie's venerable sidekick, "Trigger", is beautifully recorded here.
I scored a near mint/unplayed copy and it sounds incredible. The pressing is excellent. -
This is one of the most crackly records I have - sounds like a campfire, though it doesn't look to be in bad shape. Wondering if this was a poor-quality pressing or if I have a bad copy.
