Maybe I am the lucky one. I just grabbed this version and it sounds great - bass and all. Needs a better cleaning when I get a chance but I am not hearing that muddy quality everyone is talking about. Still would a more pristine version if I ever see one out in the wild.

Edited 2 years agoYeah not great, Definitely pretty muddy lacking high end, still enjoyable but wouldn't be the 1st choice if you want great sound. Doesn't stop me from playing it every now and then though.

Edited one year agoIf you're looking for sound quality you won't find it here. Whatever tape or EQ was used to cut this it's all muffled with zero bass.
Get one that has MX in the deadwax, not any that have 2YS -
Released only 7 months after the debut album, BS deliver one of the all-time metal landmark classics - a monster record wherein the RIFF is still king & their doom metal sound is further honed. Paranoiac!
