Stark, devastating, painfully coherent -- furious eloquence of the most singular and excruciating sort.... Souls on fire sounding like nothing else out there, and certainly not for the faint of heart.

Easily one of my favorite top 3 albums of all time. This LP shines as one of CSC's greatest albums. With timeless killer tracks like 'Coldest Day Of The Year', 'If Tomorrow Ever Comes', and 'Hung Again', as well as the ever prudent 'Corporate Protopop', this album could have been produced yesterday. The themes are all relevent today, if not even more so than in '91 when it was recorded.
Tod A. (now of the band 'Firewater', which rocks in it's own right/way) has a way with words, a sarcastic futuristic perspective which is perfect for anyone having 'one of those days'. This is the type of hard noise/rock album that anyone with an 'edge' can appreciate. It's got everything you'd want; Great music, awesome lyrics, and the production / style of CSC's work on this LP is some of their greatest stuff. I owned it on CD for many years. If you can, get it on LP, it sounds even better (*of course...).
