In 2001, after a formal request from them via an NGO, I donated my copy to the non-public section of the 'Neuengamme' concentration camp's "memorial archives". They just couldn't believe how such a (visually) disturbing, tasteless, and ultra provocative release could NOT be full of antisemite rants & neo-nazi skinhead chants (luckily they hadn't asked for 'Für Ilse Koch' which would have met their expectations a lot more than this). Even months later they kept telephoning me asking more and more about "this kind of music" (first question was like: "We'd like to believe that this Machwerk is an isolated case. It is an isolated case, isn't it?) 😄

Original Broken Flag copies come with a booklet. There are at least two versions of the booklet in existence.

This album was the first release on Broken Flag, featuring various artists in the noise/power-electronics vein. It was subsequently "reissued" (or more accurately, bootlegged) by Remote Control. The original Broken Flag issue features a plain white sleeve with a a photocopied sheet of dead people (possibly Jews?) in a barn pasted on the front. The Remote Control reissue comes in a black sleeve with a hand x-ray photograph on the cover (similar to the first Faust LP).
