Justin Strauss had several glittering moments of remix genius in the 80s and 90s and Erasure's "A Little Respect" is among the best of his best. Injecting the already irresistibly catchy synthpop classic with elements of late 80s acid house proved to be a winning combination that made his 12" Vocal and Remix/Edit stand out amongst the small pool of mixes representing this signature Erasure masterpiece. To date, this rare promo CD-single is the only CD to have featured either mix, while his 12" House mix did finally make its way to CD on the 2009 deluxe reissue of "The Innocents". His 2 Dub mixes remain hidden away on 12" vinyl.
