Found this in the wild for cheap and wasn't expecting much, but it actually sounds pretty great. I prefer the OG cover art, but gold foil printing is really pretty. Even the insert is top notch. Grab it if you see it.
-
Sounds great, it was a little overpriced but it's an essential offspring album so i'm not too pissed. I do prefer the og artwork but this is okay
-
Anyone compared it to the 1997 orange pressing? I am wondering if it is worth getting this one as well.

New art is wonderful! I would also like to have the original design as the inlay though. The mastering is very good. But the surface noise is just killing me and spoils all positive impression about this release. Good thing is, that you can hear the surface noise moistly between tracks or in few "relatively quiet" ages. But it still annoys. Possibly diamond dust in vinyl? It crackles from the beginning until the end. I replaced it once, but second copy had exactly the same problem. I kept "less noisy" one, but I'm really looking forward to another reissue on black vinyl this time.

Holy hell I never expected I'd see such an amazing art design from goddamn Offspring. It looks absolutely beautiful.

I love The Offspring I would say over all this is my favorite album from them. Me and My Old Lady Suck Each Other Dry!!!!

Not as good sounding as most are describing, there's some distortion all over and some surface noise. It could definitely use a remaster. On the other hand, as a collector's piece, it's packaging and insert are fantastic. Get it if you are a collector.
