Illian Walker (Ils) is the master craftsman of breaks in my opinion, and i think this is his best album to date, he's well capable of getting even closer to aural perfection.
It's interesting to see how his distinctive sound has developed, there's a consistency and flow to Paranoid Prophets which i don't think was present in the scrappy, but brilliant Bohemia. Standout tracks on PP include Broken Homes, Music Makers (awesome!), No Money on Trees (Ils at his blistering best), the so melodic Sleeping Village and my favourite, The Internationals, which is classic Ils, even better than 6 Space (Next Level) in my opinion.
I think Paranoid Prophets is his benchmark album, it's a must have for those who love his music. I can't wait for the next album.
