Reviewing every record in my collection
Another great single, the cover is nice although I prefer the Japanese "Big hits" one. Now, the sound quality in this is amazing, Compared to my Like a Virgin album reissue the versions/Remixes in this maxi sound much better. The remix itself is a great reinterpretation of the song and Stay isn't a favorite Madonna song of mine (I think the demo from "81 is much better) but it sounds great here -
I always preferred this Extended Jellybean Benitez remix over the short/bland LP mix. The Extended breaks and bell sounds were welcome. Some may feel that the emulator solo didn't age well, and they might have a point, but for me, THIS is the definitive mix of this classic.
