Zero noise on mine after cleaning. Sounds pretty clear and separation is very good. Thought it might be a bit more punchy and maybe the OG pressing is. Would like to confirm someday...

My copy has an extremely low noise floor - when I dropped the needle I honestly couldn't tell the stylus had hit the record until the opening synth of "Smothered Hope" kicked in. Sounds at least as good as streaming/CD versions I've heard, which is really all I wanted. While I haven't heard an OG press, I find it hard to believe that they were pressed on vinyl this quiet. Overall very happy with this.

No surface noise on my copy. It had a lot of debris on it from the paper sleeve though. I always run new records through a cleaner because of that.
Sounds great! And holds up well to the original press. -
A lot of surface noise but Sounds Okay... Don't have an original pressing to Compare it to. I like how they kept it similar to the original release packaging wise. From what I have read Cevin Key didn't know anything about this re-release and had nothing to do with it (I assume Ohgr didn't either) If they did I'm sure it would have been a much better quality record. I couldn't help my self with this album because unfortunately I don't own any SP Vinyl and this is my favorite album but I don't think I will be purchasing Bites or any other Nettwerk SP re-release.

Edited 7 years agoI wish they would have added the extra tracks that were on the cassette version for this reissue. I would have rebought it.
