Notes
The notes provided herein pertain to the Test Press vinyl of Relapse Records 2004 release, 'Miss Machine,' by The Dillinger Escape Plan (DEP). The quantity of test press vinyls is not definitively known. However, anecdotal reports suggest a total quantity 5 - 8 test vinyls.
The test press vinyl comes in a generic paper inner-sleeve placed in a makeshift jacket consisting of a cardboard backing and a generic 2-mil polyvinyl outer-sleeve. Additionally, the test press is accompanied with a gray, 'Miss Machine,' Hype Sticker. The adhesive backing for said sticker contains information regarding the US and World-Wide release dates, respectively
Pursuant to RSG §10.7.3., credits are not provided for this release, as the spartan packaging of the vinyl test pressing is wholly devoid of information save matrix etchings. Information concerning said etchings is contemplated in the paragraph directly below.
The matrix etchings for Side A and B, respectively, mirror those of the retail release. Refer to images to view matrix etchings on Side A and B, respectively. Due diligence demands images of the respective matrix etchings to help establish authenticity of the article simultaneously erasing concerns of a potential apocryphal item.
