My wife picked this up for $50 and it is immaculate. I can't wrap my head around how a 42 year old record can still look so good. Sounds absolutely amazing. For a record that is always in top ten must-have lists, I'm happy I got this.

Found this pressing at Joe’s Garage in Kyoto for 2800¥ in mint condition and it’s one of the best sounding records I’ve ever heard. This shit makes you want to party.

Wow, this is a f** killer pressing. Compared with my French and German first pressing, this Japanese one is full everywhere. Billie Jean is simply amazing.
Feel lucky I grabbed this one in the Philippines.

If you want to dance, then this is the best-sounding pressing of this iconic album. There’s plenty to shake your booty to. The recent MOFI One Step is the copy you listen to, if you want to appreciate the genius of Quincy Jones; however it sacrifices the bottom-end - which reveals more detail, but this ultimately kills the vibe of the original recording. If you could combine the original master, with the crisp mid and highs on the MOFI, then you would have the perfect master. Until then, it’s the tale of two very different mastering jobs.

This is a flawless pressing and sounds pretty damn perfect. My copy I found in a flea market is a sample promo copy since it has the sample sticker stuck on underneath the credits on the back cover and looks and sounds as if it was just manufactured yesterday, there is just so much clarity, vibrancy and smoothness to it. The original American pitman pressing still has more vivaciousness and energy to it but this particular pressing is still worth getting for your collection regardless if you are a thriller nerd like me.

This was SO bright it legitimately hurt my ears. Nice quality jacket and cool insert, but god awful mastering. Avoid, a trashed US pressing will sound miles better

Probably one of the best versions of this album you can find. My press is perfect. Literally zero pops. Worthy of this legendary album
