This is fantastic. I love the way it all sounds. A very warm “in the studio” sound and feel to this album. This original pressing and mix are the way to experience this one.

So much for the price plummet upon reissue. Too bad J Records botched that pressing. The new O'Brien mix I think is fantastic. I haven't picked it up on wax due to all the reported problems but I just might. Or perhaps not... I think the old mix sounds best on wax and the new is available easily on digital. Guess I'm happy where I'm at. It took me quite a few years to warm to this album - nowhere near a fav, but I quite dig it now and it's moved up a fair few notches in my personally rankings. Gorgeous album artwork.

I have the original and reissue vinyl. Both mixes are slightly different. I like them both but perhaps would lean towards the original. Maybe because I’m more used to it?! I suggest playing the version you’re in the mood for.
The reissue has a cool vocal ending on World Wide Suicide that I think is a neat touch. It’s the little minor things I enjoy discovering on the reissue.
The original has a narrower spine so the LP’s and booklet are quite tightly fitted. I store the booklet separately. The reissue has a wider spine so it accommodates everything a little nicer.
I’d say if you can find an nice original edition, it’s not a bad purchase. -
It's not a great press in my opinion, lots of crackle and surface noise, not worth the money you'll have to pay to have the original Adam Kasper mix on vinyl.

Wow, I bought two copies of this album 10 years ago. Kinda glad now. I'm sure they'll repress this soon and the price will plummet. Anyone know if this album was mastered for vinyl or is this the CD master?
