`Santa Dog; in all of its myriad manifestations, REALLY, TRULY IS one of the most beautiful, transendental and higher-vibratory experiences of any other musical effort I can think of and is also a very significant and pristine example illustrating the amazing results that can emerge from a simply executed construction done with appropriate amounts of ambiguity, ramped-up imagination and the utmost humourous sincerity! The Residents ever-morphing `Santa Dog' model IS unquestionably on the level of contemporary religious, devotional music, I firmly believe that it absolutely IS !!
