This Record JB 002 was 1st listed on DMR May 1985, sadly no Review in the Record Column, Harlequin's Four with JB 003 was listed earlier in DMR March 1985, with a large advertising page. I am curious if someone is interested in my comment and is in possession of another DJ magazine which also documents the record. Crazy 8 billion people, year 2021 and I'm writing a comment about a record that nobody bought when it came out and that sounded very old-fashioned at the time. I'm not going to write what I thought when I first heard it in 1985.

Edited 5 years agoThis came out in 1984, preceded by the original version " Willie Daniels – Let Me Get Close To You ", a 12" released in 1982 on Logios own label "Don-Lo Production." Arrangeur George Bussey has mentioned that these arrangements were done in the 70s and he wasn't even aware they ever got released. There's also rumours about a 7" but none has ever surfaced on Discogs.
