Mondo included a flyer for the re-release of the Fight Club Original Motion Picture Score (by the Dust Brothers) on vinyl! Should go on sale this Fall (I am Jack's lack of patience).
-
An excellent album altogether but the one that stands out most is, to me, Jack's Smirking Revenge. I'm aware this is highly subjective, but this particular piece of music is, in my humble opinion, the sublimest piece of music I've hitherto had the pleasure to listen to.
-
Subversive, chaotic and in your face. Foreboding sample based funk, listen carefully and you will realize that their whole production history was leading up to this. A monolith of a soundtrack, a lesson on how to translate moving images into sound. Don't Sleep.
-
Extremly mellow Ambient trip out well crafted by The Dust Brothers. Like the superb film aims to create a kind of "out of body experience" & provides a good fusion of dance breaks that are less aparent with today's productions of soundtracks (Less combination of simple selected tracks from a film all bunged onto a disc) this has more emphasis on the music itself
