I purchased vol 1 to 3 as I recall not released concurrently, the I purchased the box separately so have all 3 in a box set
-
Could this also be turned in to a box set - and not just one lp - if you got the box and all three records?
-
Really nice sounding record. The sound is much fuller and more detailed than recent issues. The guitars from the left channel of Kizza Me are more muscular and I can hear the layering in most tracks better.
I would recommend truing up your cartridge alignment and having a cart that tracks well. I did notice some sibilance but made adjustments and it became less noticeable. I have a good set up, not great, so maybe others wouldn’t experience this issue.
Overall, I really enjoyed this release. Long overdue. -
Edited 6 years agoWTF?! I bought this really excited, thinking it would be an improved sound in relation to older versions. The sound is awful, very thin, distorted, badly equalized. I'm really disappointed and sad. It's a beautiful album, but such bad sound doesn't make wanna listen to it at all. And I spent decent money on this. I don't know, could be my copy, but I doubt it.

Better than the 4 Men pressing (which was not too bad itself, save for some sibilance and the occasional patch of surface noise).
Smoke em if ye got em. -
