Guys.. I think it's time for a reissue because THESE prices are killing me

Really good workouts across the whole album. If only more modern music was as well made as this.

Great selections, though his work for labels such as Salsoul (and many other smaller ones) is not represented on this 2 disc compilation.

(What we REALLY need is a 10-disc retrospective of ALL of his remixes. A licensing nightmare no doubt, but we need it...but we also need the DUB mixes Larry did as well, and those never seem to make appearances on any cd releases)

Note: The mastering on this cd is a bit heavy handed with compression, and some of the tracks are vinyl transfers (namely "Life is something Special" & "Don't make me Wait")

This CD is a must for anyone that loves the music that was played at The Paradise Garage. The sound quality is great, and you're getting the full 12 Inch Mix.

Does anyone know if theres is a real difference between European & Japanese release? I wonder if sometimes the japanese version, is not only a marketing strategie.

Just picked up a new copy still sealed for £8!
Given the number, quality and sheer range of the tracks, I'm astonished the have to want ratio is over 2/1 - I don't know if people are put off because the Bill Brewster record label comps on CD from around the same time have sound quality issues but fear not, the dynamics across the 2CDs sound good to me. I would definitely recommend picking up a copy, disco christ, it's worth it just for the two Peech Boys mixes!

Great remix of Central Line - Walking into Sunshine, summer vibes!

Some classic tracks you'll recognise, a few hidden gems you won't. Either way, a great collection of Levan tracks all carrying his signature style. More suited to the connoisseur or knowledgeable purveyor but Johnny-come-latelies can jump aboard if they've got the right ticket.
