Lana Del Rey – Honeymoon

So lucky to get my hands on this copy! The sound quality is great for a repress! A MUST.

I am so lucky to have gotten this! I am definitely leaving it sealed and just playing my 2015 Urban Outfitters version.

Sounds great and i had no problems with the discs.

There are a lot of rumours going around about this release. It's all speculation and hearsay! This seems to have accidentally been shipped out by UMG. They recalled the pressings that were sent to Vertigo Vinyl. My guess is that they were too late to recall the pressings sent to iMusic because they had already been shipped to customers before it was noticed. It was never intended to be sold at this time. Speculation also that it was supposed to be released at the same time as the Ultraviolence repress does not make sense because the Ultraviolence repress was released at the albums anniversary, the LFL repress was also released at the time of the albums anniversary. Why would they release a Honeymoon repress for the Ultraviolence anniversary? I would say this pressing is currently being pressed for the 10th anniversary of Honeymoon and will be released in September of this year and UMG accidentally sent out the pressings that had already arrived to the warehouse. It's the only thing that makes sense because they have recalled it. If it was an intended pressing for last year or the year before and they were just selling them off to make room in the warehouse they wouldn't recall it. And they wouldn't press this release and then not sell it. Now I could be wrong but this is what makes the most sense to me

The way they cut like half of the album for this but like does anybody know what font they used chile

Mine arrived today. I'm so stoked. One of my holy grails.

In the cancelation email from Vertigo Vinyl, they claimed all copies were recalled to the distributor by UMG. If true, I wouldn’t expect a wide release anytime soon.

when is it fully getting repressed I need to know

The good: The mastering on this pressing is fantastic and much better than my original. This is punchy, dynamic and incredibly immersive. This is by far the best listening experience of this album I’ve ever had.

The bad: The quality control ain’t there. My copy has come with a number of scratches, one of them rather major. There is also dreadful distortion on Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood

Having said that, it’s still miles better than my original press which was terrible.
