Just want to drop by to say that I am in possession of #001. Anyway!

Not sure about the review mentioning IGD on this pressing... I'd say either a bad copy or bad setup. I'm not necessarily a vinyl expert, but I am an audio nerd, and the audio quality is really crisp on this. It was great to re-appreciate the album!

Can anyone comment on the sound quality?

As great as it looks, as bad is the level of surface noise. Sound quality as such is great, but this is really annoying. I had grains of whatever on the vinyls when I pulled them out of the inner sleeves the first time and the round labels have some stains in the same color on it. Not sure what happened here but this raises some concerns on quality check (if there was any) of the pressing plant.

Overall the sound is amazing and dynamic, but still after cleaning there are quite loud cracks and pops on the quieter parts. I have listened the 180g black vinyl version and it was dead quiet compared to this.

My inner sleeves were also full of dirt that probably scratched the records when pulling them out. Those tight printed inner sleeves should be illegal... Poly sleeves next time, please!

Great sounding release. Some mild noise, but overall a very quiet release. Happy to finally get one at retail. I was ignoring vinyl for awhile and only getting CDs.

Good sound on this one overall. A little bit of IGD however, shame as inner tracks are some of the album's highlights.

Buy this digital folks. The lp sounds like garbage which is truly disappointing considering how good the music is.

Fantastic album, and the clear/smoked vinyl looks awesome, but my C&D record is very off center, so it's difficult to listen to.
