Solid vinyl, mines got stolen and many many others, I was reading the comments and fair enough every track is nice like every other vinyl and tracks, the question really is twenty or more years ago what we're most of you doing? And if purchasing vinyl is one of things you wasn't doing every week or two then what are you talking about?? Please don't come here after watching YouTube for many many years and claim ya know vinyl or tunes, this vinyl and many at the time didn't stand a chance to what else was out there and if majority if you were actually aware at that time in real time you would know that.. I was on radio, wasn't that hard to get on a station either, make a tape, be actually somewhat good and ya on if you don't mind paying subs, obviously of you were a friend of the owner then maybe no subs to pay but you would anyhow so you look cool right. .
Anyhow, I need a man and allnighter actually are the bangers on here, together instrument set is from the RIO vinyl which in my opinion slaps this one but that's my opinion. Together kind of annoyingly repeats when at this time loops were great but without vocals that are in a song format didn't stand a chance what was out, I mean nervous records always pushing vocals and majority actual singer's, that eventually the UK garage would copy most of then vocals as if nervous got away with the other stuff etc Todd Edwards with his four different vocalist usually to make one track so many on UK thought let's rip that..
So there we have it, together is nothing but RIO instrument set and patterns with the riff from "Blues for you" on strictly rythm, ya see, many of you didn't know that, together is a child and not the parent, I'm a vinyl head and I will always respect the original within same genre and out but mainly best to stay within genre as no genre beats the genre mainly using raw instruments. . -

Edited 9 years agoDoes anybody know where the oh no (or something similar)-sample in need a man is from? sounds like the same sample as in baby ford's and thomas melchior's classic deep house track soul capsule - lady science (nyc sunrise) although i'm not a 100% sure
edit, found it: vicky martin - not gonna do it. the sample for together on this very record is lifted from the same tune and so is the sample for lady science for sure -

Great EP. I also think that Need A Man, especially in the early parts of the track, sounds very similar to the start of hardrive-deep inside.
