My copy has a white label, but with the cover sleeve as shown on this listing. Has the NUKP 0172. Anyone else the same? -

I have to agree with you. The 90s were on the borderline, but the 80s were already a business, even if not quite as much as afterwards. The 70s, that was a great time. But I agree with you, now it's 90% business.

The BK & Nick Sentience mix stands out to me as one of the better tracks on the green imprint of Nukleuz. At the very least, it was a memorable track at the time, and it got big reactions when I played it at a few parties back then.
Edit: I know this is technically on VC, but it's originally a green Nukleuz track, and even the sleeve here shows Nukleuz more prominently than VC. So yeah, always thought of this as a proper Nukleuz record. -

The Megavoices UK mix starts as it means to continue, hard! The classic sample which I always thought was “You better get this train!” comes in filtered, eventually accompanied by Mauro Picotto’s trademark pipe clanging. Soon enough it becomes a march theme song for angry wasps on parade, with a wasp the size of an elephant being sampled as the synth. The sub rumbles, the bass wub wub wubs, the pots are forgotten about and then there is the breakdown which is pure trance loveliness. Hands in the air, feel the love, clap your hands, and chant along to the do-do-do-do de-do do-do-de-do that is the main hook. Fix in some rolling snares, bring back your sample “get this train, get this train, get this train, oooh yeaaah!” Drop it like a hot potato and back in with the heavy bouncy kick/bass combo for a good couple of minutes of trance energy! Then remove the hook, and maintain due course as a techy number back on track until JESUS CHRIST!! what’s this?? The elephant wasps are back! well it’s just mental now, it’s still rolling along but everyone’s now swatting around themselves waving their hands trying to get the wasps, they don’t even notice the track is running out.
The Picotto Tea mix starts off as a piece of dark brooding tech house, with a sinister string hook which is similar to that used in the original Faithless - Insomnia. The beats and bass rumble along to the breakdown and the introduction of snare rolls building to a frenzied crescendo and welcoming the heavy kick and low end sub once more. Introduced to the mix are some trademark pot and pans from Mauro’s kitchen (he is Italian so has many to sample!) clanging along with the reintroduction of the sinister strings. It’s a perfect example of ‘less is more’ as it ebs and flows wonderfully. -

Mauro Picotto delivers a 2-for-1 deal with some top of the line hard trance and techno on Iguana. Every version is incredibly well thought out and brings something new to the table. Mauro's given us some great work over the years, but Iguana is by far his best. -

Out of all the Nukleuz releases [red, blue, green and purple] the green releases are the best for me [picotto - iguana, megamind - sturn und drang, lava - autumn, zicky - she wanna to name a few]. This release is my favourite, opinions may be split as to which is the best mix of this picotto classic, and to be fair theres been a few! This release [the RAF and blank & jones mixes] were favoured by Mark EG playing both in his Dreamscape 33 set. The RAF mix has a very underground feel, typical of picotto's haunting hard trance style, with the hands in the air break and rumbling bassline. On the flipside, the blank & jones mix has a very euro trance feel, with the emphasis more on the euphoric breakdown. Dj M-Zone always preferred the Claxxix and megavoices mixes which will probably appeal more to the hard house heads, but im siding with Mark EG on this occasion!! -
