Bought this when it came out and I might have played it a couple of times. Decided to give it a spin today and being in NM shape it sounds fantastic! An investment that paid off.....lol

yeah, this record doesn't suck...because lets be honest, Higher Love is what we're all looking for, plus Chaka Kahn. Pressing just snaps and you can taste all the 80's production values across a bajillion tracks at some fancy studio where maybe, kinda possibly, my friend use to drop off "deliveries" back innaday. If we had all had a bit more Steve Winwood in our lives, would that be such a bad thing? Top 5 answers on the board all say Valerie. You are welcome.

Found a sealed copy for $5 in a bargain bin

One of the best sounding records in my collection. Stevie hits the 80's hard, making music that transcends the decade. Great mastering by Ted Jenson at Sterling Sound. Highly recommended and can still be had for bargain prices.

Picked up a NM copy of this and I must say, this pressing is simply fantastic. Crazy depth and dynamics. You've never heard Higher Love until you'd listened to this DMM cut by Ted at Sterling. If you can find a clean copy, buy with confidence.

I've got the original CD and LP - and this sounds so much better!

This DMM pressing sounds incredible. Such clarity and fullness without the digital shrill. So much detail to enjoy.

My copy has a [ around the spindle hole and I can't identify it... Anyone know anything about this?
