I've got this release but the jacket was massively dogeared in shipping. How does this sound compared to the US pressing? Which one is better? -

To be clear, this is not remastered and neither is the Twitch 2lp. They were "Re-cut" from the master tapes, if anything they would likely be slightly worse quality than original pressings as the kind of high end Warner/Sire equipment used back then is likely not easily available today as well as the fact that there would be at least a small amount of tape degradation. Recut simply means it was an analog transfer, like the original; that is if it wasn't fist transferred digitally. It's a little vague. I haven't heard this version but I have the drastic plastic version which sounds great but nothing beats the OG. I bought the 2lp Twitch but it had so much background noise and the OG pressing still sounds perfect, so I returned it. -

Overall: A great remastered pressing of one of the best Ministry albums ever made. I really like that we're given new stuff like the CD exclusive tracks on vinyl, alongside the b-sides from the Stigmata single. No surface noise really helps give the album an oomph that would be muddled by the static. While I would've preferred they do lyrics for the insert, as opposed to the creation story they did, it isn't that big of an issue. I already owned this on vinyl, but prefer this version for its new stuff and the quality. -

Both "Hizbollah" and "I Prefer" were CD only tracks and make first release on vinyl! Fact that no one is hyping this :) -

For historians, a rather unfortunate typo in the liner notes: "It was an honor to be erased by Ion" should be "It was an honor to be erased by Ian"... though perhaps Barker actually handled the re-recording?

This pressing bests the Drastic Plastic version which is hard to do cause the DRP version is cut by Kevin Gray! Get this version asap!
