Tipper – Forward Escape

I really like the edits thus far. Track 3 sounds like Dave played the bassriff on a bass guitar for example. Gratis is a great track to finish the album but as far as the edits go, the outro of Dreamsters is kinda meh and stops abruptly. I would still give this a 5/5 though. Great sounding release, no pops etc. and great vinyl quality.

This album sounds amazing. On par with what I already considered my quietest album. Great depth of range.

I honestly didn't know about Tipper until recently when I stumbled on this album at a local shop and loved the art so I gave it a listen on Spotify and immediately fell in love. Couldn't resist the temptation to grab this and I was not at all disappointed, and I only rarely go for albums in the $40+ range.

These new mixes are incredible. So many little details stand out and all the new edits work so well. I was not ready for how beautiful Gratis is. Felt like I was listening to the album for the first time again. Well done Dave.

I honestly find it super dumb these tracks are edits. You already trashed the album artwork and now the album itself. Should be renamed since it's not what we all wanted

This 2024 'redux' adds a bonus track (Gratis) and updated mixes of each track to separate it from the original release, and the artwork has also received a re-working from the original artist (thus preserving the valuation of those 300 rare copies that have received mythical status in the reselling market over time"

one more masterpiece of dave tipper. i listened to ot so many times and every time i discover more...so ful of details in the background, the sound design and production is insane. he recorded this album after a op on the open heart, it is deep and even spiritual and a rare electronic masterpiece, a class of his own....

Bonkers what this rare record is selling for! Tipper to the fucking max!
