Madonna – Something To

Does anyone else have a pressing where the record labels R switched 4 each respective side? Mine has Side A with a Side B label and vice versa!

Ignore the description in the Notes: THIS release DOES indeed have a card in the back cover. It is the photo of Madonna lying down, below the track listing and the UPC barcode.

This looks and sounds just as good as the 1995 pressing - it was clearly produced from the original artwork masters, in contrast to the reissues from 2013 onwards that use noticeably lower quality and poorly coloured scans of the original cover and have reset text copied in part from the CD (mentioning "inside photography"). Both the Rhino reissue and the 1995/8 versions sound good, despite the long runtime per side, but the WMME cut used here and in 1995 has just a whisker more clarity to my ears, with I'll , Live To Tell and Rain especially popping out of the speakers. Your mileage may obviously vary.

Live to tell sounds better here then in my Japan copy of true blue. It's amazing.

As said in many of the reviews here, this is an album that should be pressed as a double lp. It sounds like what a 70-minute album squashed onto one disc would sound like..lots of sibilance and lack of dynamics.
Not the worst, Im happy to have it in the collection. However, I hope this gets a reissue one day on double lp. It would sound a lot better.
I assume the demand isn't too high for this on vinyl so they wanted to save money by pressing it onto one disc?

Some copies rarely come with a red hype sticker, aside from the gold " Price" sticker seal.

Great album, super quiet, no noise. Well recorded and great tracks.

I've never been a Madonna fan during the times she was big, but rediscovered her in later years. This album shows her vocal abilities as well as her ability to express emotion (just listen to Love don't live here anymore, a worthy remix).

If you're looking for the more emotional sides of Madonna, this is the album. Perhaps it could have been released as a double album but I'm not the right person to make this argument since I'm not familiar with all her albums.

Epic collection of Madonna’s best ballads. The vinyl sounds ok but this should really be a double vinyl. Love this album tho!

Overall decent but was thinking it could have been a 2 disc compilation. Just played Crazy for You back to back w my Immaculate Collection and IC blows it outta the water! Mine feels to be 180 gram. Outer sleeve is quite thin but inner sleeve is nice.
