Thievery Corporation – Saudade

How do I know if my vinyl copy is 180 gram? I did purchase it in 2014 from Amoeba Records, Hollywood (still has price tag). It is unopened. Or, is 180 gram version a repress?

This has got to be my favorite Thievery Corporation record to chill to. I love to play this and just relax...

My copy contains some noises (3 x 0.5sec) on first track, but in general recorded very loud and clear.

is it just me or should “limited editions” say how many were pressed?

definitely light green - should probably change the listing to reflect this despite what the adverts say? the sticker isn't specific about a color...

nice pressing though! would have liked more than just a paper sleeve as inners/packaging but overall worthwhile

Nice and quiet pressing. The vocals seem to be a little more up front in general compared to the digital release but that could very well be just my interpretation. Bass could have a bit more depth to my taste but all in all, a reissue well worth your money. Happy to finally own this on vinyl.

My copy is translucent blue and also does not have the made in Czech Republic sticker. Run out etchings are very hard to see. Good pressing though, great to finally have this on vinyl.

My copy (from which I added the runouts to this listing) did not have the made in czech republic sticker which is currently on the back cover image here. The runouts of mine indicate a probable domestic US MRP pressing, and there is likely a GZ czech republic pressing as well. Record sounds very nice.

The copy I received is translucent bluish turquoise. The label on the record says "Test Pressing" EDITED: Apparently that’s what it’s supposed to look like, and it’s not an actual test pressing.

Runout is laser-etched and barely visible: "MRP 5556 / 00792755858967 - A"

My copy is warped and a little dished. But it still sounds great!

Received light green copy not translucent. Purchased from Amazon. Yet to play will clean on RCM prior.
