Just got this, the sound is good tho there is some ground noise, I wet cleaned the disc before listening to it, once the music kicks in you won't notice it that much. The package is kinda disappointing, it's just a paper sleeve, good quality yet still paper, I left the plastic wrapping. My guess is that this is supposed to be a sort of complementary item for the box set to come, reason why it is limited to 12000 copies, kinda hilarious number for a "limited edition" but for Metallica standards I guess that's true. To sum it up, this is quite expensive for what one gets imo, regardless of the fact that it was made to help raise money for the german people affected by this year's floods, it is a fancy item since it "glows in the dark", yet I would recommend it only to collectors and people willing to buy the black album box set, like me. It will sell out anyway, if you want it then just grab it, wait and it will be gone, there isn't much more to discuss.

Found this record at my local shop a couple years ago thinking it was the black album. God was I in for a treat. This was my introduction to Metallica's covers, this being "Stone Cold Crazy," and absolutely being blown away by the sound quality. JESUS this pressing sounds amazing.
