Madonna – Who's That Girl (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

This is a stunning looking slab of vinyl and whilst it does not sound bad on its own it fell short when I compared it to my original US vinyl. On the opening title track on the 1987 pressing, the swagger of the synth hook is far more pronounced, the joyous percussions, certainly by Paulinho Da Costa, swirls perfectly at the outer rim of the music, encasing it and perfecting it at the same time.
That's on my system at least.
Back to the music, the first three Madonna tracks are so remarkable that I don't even mind taking it off after The Look of Love, cause really, there's no point going on when you just hit perfection.

I don't know if this is all analog but it sounds fantastic! Pressing is flat, centered and quiet. Beautiful clear vinyl with what I call a reversing swirl effect. 1980s pop at its best, lucky this album does not cost $40 to $50! The sound quality is that good, I cannot think of any way it could be improved upon.

Bought new in blister pack all this time. For only €5. Great sound. So why go buy the new edition 5 times more expensive!

This is an extremely well mastered album and a very good pressing indeed. The Madonna songs are great. [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]

Looks to me like someone has removed the normal UK issue and substituted this dubious "White Label"

Great pressing, in my opinion. And such a fun album!

I have to it this is a quality pressing. Vinyl wasn’t warped and had little to no surface noise. The artwork reproduction also does not look like a cheap xerox copy like the other recent European releases.
I think this one was pressed by MPO.
