Rapeman – Two Nuns And A Pack Mule

Maybe not the most range in of fidelity nuance, but this is exactly what I want out of a release like this. No instrument feels lost in the mix and it’s very loud.

Remastered CD needed (old CD sounds way too tinny and low-volume). Please, Touch and Go, do this!

As far as I am concerned, the best Steve Albini album of them all.

Wonderful album, very raw sounding drums. Possibly one of the best noise-rock albums I've listened to.

One of Steve Albini’s best, a real expansion on Big Black that almost makes the former sound tame by comparison (almost). As a guitar effects nerd, I absolutely love the tones on this record, like getting cut to ribbons by the instruments. It’s a shame Albini’s edginess led him to picking a band name he’s now ashamed of, preventing this from getting rereleased or streamed. It’s among his best work and will never reach the audience it deserves.

Fantastic record, IMO better than Shellac and Big Black, and available widely for cheap with nice packaging. Questionable wording for sure, but nothing but the right intentions can be expected from Albini.

Best band name? For real?
(If anything they had one of the most explosive rhythm sections of their era)

My copy's back states Radar Love Lizard is track 7 on the sleeve, says it's track 8 on the center label, and it is track 8 on the actual record.
