Mysteries of Love is on Blue Velvet (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack).
Falling, Into The Night and The Nightingale are on Soundtrack From Twin Peaks (which came out a year after this release).

Wow is all I can say - incredibly rich and detailed pressing. This might be a slightly strange comparison, but the experience of listening to this on vinyl kind of reminded me of the first time I listened to "Hats" by the Blue Nile on vinyl - a lot of digital sounds that suddenly sound a lot warmer/more glued together. As with "Hats", you need to find a very clean pressing, as the quiet moments are very quiet, but man - what a delight. IMO sourcing an original is worth the money.

Found a sealed copy for $13 so I decided to take a chance on it. Plays quietly and sounds great. Really can’t beat the price. Not sure how this compares to an OG or the Music on Vinyl pressing

I love this album, and there are lots of very positive reviews of this pressing here, but my copy, which I bought new, sounds like steamed garbage. Lots of surface crackle, distortion at the peaks, and a weird rush of noise at the beginning of each track unlike anything I've ever heard on another record. The mastering itself sounds kind of okay but a bit lifeless. One of the worst sounding records in my collection. (that four stars is because the music is so good... this is easily a five star album when presented well).

This so brings me back to the late eighties/early nineties. I believe this was the very first CD I ever bought after being addicted to Twin Peaks. What a great time that was. I knew it would end up in my record collection at some point (jeepers…more than 30 years later).

Likely a straight transfer from the masters. Epic bass, crystalline highs, and slow smooth. This is a lower output CD and requires, even demands, volume to blossom.
