Broadcast – Haha Sound

I can only assume this is Haha Sound's WIP version, but there are a lot of songs on here I have never heard of (Infant, Krats, Ya Me Voy, etc). I would love to get my hands on this, or at least a digital copy.

are there any more informations around what this is about?

Just FYI the edition of this record now circulating is not the same as what came out in 2015 and does not have the extra sturdy 1960's tip on style record sleeve. The 2022 re-press is now just a basic printed sleeve like any other record and no sticker on the cover.

Amazing album. Glad I got to see Broadcast at Chapter Arts Centre before Trish's sad demise.

These Broadcast reissues are definitely a mixed bag as quality goes and subject to Optimal's now common QC/QA issues. While the mastering is excellent, the pressing is not. Don't be surprised if you get a copy that is pressed off-center with a nice edge warp or ripple warp.

Sounds gorgeous. It's like you're right there in the cardboard box with Trish.

Big, crisp, and dynamic sound on this re-press. The characteristic snare hits sound like gun shots, as they should.

This album and pressing are really exceptional. Sounds crisp, spacious, and nice depth. I love what they did. Had a hard time getting it out of the sleeve, it's going into MoFi sleeve. The edges of the record are a bit rough and I heard some pops here and there, but it's very flat. Mine also came with an MP3 code, but no sticker advertising the code. Was surprised to find it new at an unassuming record store in LA.

Simply a beautiful album. Gets better & better with every listen.
