Stevie Ray Vaughan And Double Trouble* – Texas Flood

My copy of this has the same barcode and run outs however the label is black that transitions to blue and a rainbow epic font and I can see a stamped F in the runouts. I can’t find a different listing that matches this.

I have this exact copy. The runouts and pictures match perfectly. All the comments listed here describe my copy. The only difference that I see (or feel) is that my copy is not 180 grams. I used my wife’s digital kitchen scale and it comes in around 135 grams.

While this release does sound great, it just didn't really blow me away like I thought it would. With that said, I have nothing else to compare it to. I've only heard this release on cassette and CD. Others in the comment section probably have a better idea than me. Just not sure it's worth $70 plus or not

Killer pressing… the way it should be! I’m sick of buying these reissues and getting a terrible sounding press.

This pressing is simply amazing!! Before I received my copy, I was reading the comments here but I was not so excited about the purchase.. Man.. I couldn't be more wrong!! Perfect recording, mixing and mastering!!! Audiophile quality here!

This looks like my disk, but I don't see anywhere where 1985 is mentioned. The booklet included folds out to large square with four quadrants that are not included in the photos. A lot of the versions say 1985 or later, but clearly on the disc is 1983, and also on the back.

This is an amazing pressing of a classic SRV album. If you can find a good copy, grab it!

La peinture de la pochette est superbe, et … la peinture de cette pochette est superbe. Hormis le 5 ème morceau ( testify), c’est Chiant comme du blues; normal c’est du blues. Enregistré par un ingé son qui ne devait pas non plus aimer le blues.

I will echo others - this is functionally a perfect pressing. Literally dead silent between tracks. I will leave it to others to debate mastering, etc. but the actual pressing is 10/10.
