Masterboy – Different Dreams

First of all, this is one of the best remasters I have ever heard! The sound is not compressed and distorted, on the contrary it's dynamic and has an amazing channel seperation!
Max Kondrashow (who did the remastering) should be given other Eurodance albums too, which were victims of the loudness wars on their first release, in order to "correct" their sound.

Regarding the tracklist:
On CD2, track 12 (Feel the heat of the night - Free & Independent Mix) is the Album Version, which appears also on CD1 (Track 8). In other words, this track appears twice (it shouldn't have).
The Radio Edit of "Is this the Love" is missing, as well as the amazing Union Mix from the same song (the Alternate Mix - CD2 track 2 is very similar, but not the same).

If someone wants to buy this album, this is the Edition he's looking for!

Probably one of my favorite albums; Masterboy is amazing; hope their music will last for many more years. I own a copy of this album !

One of the best Eurodance albums of the first half of the 90s back when the whole scene was more about the music instead of the personal lifes of the people behind these projects. was an particularly strong country in of top quality Eurodance/Trance music and Masterboy shows what these Germanians are capable of doing with high beat tempos, catchy rythms and really fun singing/rapping. I am sometimes suprised that these fellas arent mentioned when the topic of Eurodance comes up somewhere since unlike most other Eurodance groups I dont find these guys nearly as aged or cheesy as some of their other genre counterparts. For instance I think that both the female singing and the rapping are quite unique in their own way. The woman sounds refreshing and unlike many others in the genre and the rapping is actually not nearly as cheesy as I thought it would be since the guy actually has a really cool voice. I guess the lyrics are the only part which aged horribly since they are your 24/7 typical eurodance schtick. Other then that the album is still pretty fun and refreshing even to this day thanks to great musicianship and an really nice production quality. Big recommend from me.

I wouldn't say the sound is perfect. It'd be better to reduce the number of the remixes and to use more space for the original nearly 55 minutes long album.

Greatest Eurodance Album Of The Year 1994. Just Simply Great.

I bought the vinyl “Masterboy - Different Dreams 2LPs” in early 2021 and there was a problem with one of the tracks. "A4 Everybody Needs Somebody (Higher And Higher Remix)" repeated a track that should have read "C3 - Everybody Needs Somebody (Up & Down Mix)". In short, the song “Everybody Needs Somebody (Higher And Higher Remix)”. repeated 2 times!!!! and the version I so wanted “Up & Down Mix” doesn't have on vinyl as indicated!!!!! 😕😔. I reported this on the Maschina Records Instagram page and they blocked me!!! I will complain on their official website!
