Michael Kiwanuka – Home Again

Nothing wrong with my pressing. A little bit of inner sleeve rub perhaps but nothing that spoils the audio. It’s unmistakably a Paul Butler production and anyone familiar with The Bees will appreciate that - warm, analogue, soulful goodness.

Wow, sounds pretty darn good but could be better. Lasan sounds so different than the other tracks… the best. It is mixed and mastered perfectly. I bet this is thanks to Dan Aurerbach. Thanks Dan! Wish the rest of the album sounded as good as Lasan.

I must have received a dud as there's way too many pops on this one for my liking. Which is too bad as the music is fantastic.

Always Waiting is one of the most tender songs I’ve ever heard and was my introduction to this man and when I bought this record for a decent price I played it first and was mesmerised how fabulous it sounded. The whole album is incredible. No pops. No jumps and no skips. Stunning.

Soundwise one of the best lp I’ve ever owned or heard so far (having own 5000+ vinyls).
The purest Emerald within the post millenium music.
My highest recommendation.

PS: this 2016 EU repress sounds way better than the first US 2012 pressing I also own.

I may have just gotten unlucky, but my copy has a fair amount of pops and surface noise. The pressing itself sounds warm and clear. Great album.

Sounds amazing. Rich, deep and loads of nuance. Very happy to have this on vinyl. Whisper quiet. Does not disappoint.
