Martin played the piano and Julius Wechter the vibes as they move on with his smash "Quiet Village"...In the song are bird calls and assorted jungle noises...As Spike Jones said in a novelty album referring to this huge Liberty LP hit, "SOME Quiet Village"...Neat history here as original MONO version was recorded actually in Waikiki...but they laid another version down in '58 in spectacular SPECTRA-Sonic Stereo...Wow! Side note: Arthur Lyman did the vibes on the MONO version...Denny flung out a good number of these mellow TIKI albums over the years...Made a whole lot of sea shells for Liberty AND himself...Augie Colon play bongos, congas and bird calls...Also a historical note that Sandy Warner was the ever present model on Denny covers...On this one she had the dangling metal on her forehead and a super sensuous look through the bamboo curtain...Sleazy? Tad so...but music history... -

This appears to be a1970/71 re-issue with the final variant of the Liberty label before it was discontinued. -
Just in the form of trivia: Sandra Warner the "Exotica Girl" was on the covers of Martin Denny's first 12 albums and a total of 16 in all!
