Edited one month agoComments from Bad World Records after I ed them:
"Generally you should be able to store it as any other vinyl. We would always advise to every now and again to spin it, move it and shake it to allow the liquid to move and remix. There is no powder in the Saltburn filled vinyl but we have seen that by resting it in one position for a prolonged period of time it can need a quick shake to allow it all to remix (and this will be needed whether stored vertically or horizontally)." -
My copy from the second(?) pressing has a lot of needle jump issues. Especially on the A side. Also a few cracks. Does anyone have the same? Overall, I'm still impressed with this edition.

Anyone else's getting a cloudy white residue inside??? If I press the vinyls together over a spot of it with my fingers and then run the liquid over the spot, it does sorta wash away, but obviously I don't want to keep messing with it/testing the seal like that, and I don't know if it's from humidity/temp/conditions or how I'm storing it or what :/

Edited 6 months agoVery tempted to have gotten the disgustingly ingenious/fitting Bad World pressing but didn’t (total price, wait time, and the possibility of leaking and tone arm and stylus wear due to fluid sloshing). Aesthetically, this one isn’t bad — red felt more fitting than the gold variant. The vinyl itself is lightweight and flat, and the sound is clear. The included booklet of still photographs is a fun bonus. I only wish this GRAMMY-nominated OST included “Rent” by Pet Shop Boys (I’ll just buy it as a 7”) and the opening Zadok the Priest by Handel as performed by Simon Preston / Choir of Westminster / ECO.

I feel like Murder On The Dance Floor should be the closing track on this package but that's just me lol

Hopefully the seals don’t fail/leak as the years go by. I wouldn’t be keeping it anywhere near my other records, that’s for sure.
