Great sounding LP, very warm, discs are spotless, overall a great Reissue of this classic.

What about the Bubblegum XX 4LP's + book, can't find it here on Discogs.

No one having problems with this exclusive price? Why is it so expensive?

I find this pressing very quiet and does have quite a few crackles throughout. It's a bit of a shame as you really need to raise the gains which also amplifies the crackles. Wish this was not the case as the music and line-up in beyond stellar. Anyone know the year this version was repressed?

I usually always say that remasters are among the biggest BS music industry has tried to sell us. But this is AMAZING. I know every second of this record by heart, have studied it, played it live. and DAMN this remaster. It's so punchy, so alive, Lanegan sounds so so close, so alive… And I insist, i usually hate remasters and am the annoying audiophile type.

Some very few tracks (Hit the City for instance) lost a bit of their crazy/schizo cohesion. But Lanegan is really in the centre of everything and the songs get even punchier. Songs I was never a big fan of (Like Little Willie John, Can't Come Down) are all of a sudden PERFECT. Way deeper bass, more detail, more punch, more delicacy also.
If I ever run into the person who remastered this, I'll fucking french kiss them and start a cult in their name.. Amazing.

PRESSING: pretty solid, even though I had to clean it, both dry and wet, multiple times to get the crazy amount of static out, but managed to. Someone should ban these plain paper sleeves.

Sounds fantastic compared to the XX streaming and my non remastered CD, better sounding in every way.

Flat & quiet, great sound, remastered is fantastic, beautful book, nothing to complain about this one...

Pretty fucking shitty that this sold out so quickly... Hopefully there's a second run on the way...

The outtakes lp was scratched in the middle of willie john. It plays through but pops, nearly on beat with the song. Overall not too upset as it doesnt completely skip. But I do sort of feel like with those sorts of qc issues they were probably rushing these things through production.

The second LP of my Bubblegum had a lot of crackles that required a clean and several play-throughs before it was listenable. The other vinyl in the set sounds terrific.
