Okay... This is F'n FANTASTIC!!! All due respect to the talents of Geddy and, God bless him, Neal, as a musician/composer myself (using both VERY loosely) I can see where most of the compositional strength came from... 😊
The sound is mind blowing great! Whomever mastered this is a frigg'n genius!

Found this the Black Vinyl version noisy even after Cleaning with VPI. Not unexpected with Lp's placed in the stiff cardboard inners. Why do they keep insisting on doing that especially for the prices, $54.99, here in Ottawa. Please use poly sleeves at minimum. -
A worthy remix with some very interesting bonus tracks. Lots of incredible guitar playing here!

If you are a fan of the original cd, you must hear this. This remix is 100% better in every way. Excellent job. -
The sound of the record is great, and so is the packaging.
I do wish (the same as with the Geddy Lee reissue) that they will not use printed sleeve. Those cardboard sleeve are not so nice for the vinyl.
Much rather have a regular anti-static record sleeve, and have an insert with the lyrics. -
This album sounds really nice to my ears. The four extra songs, unreleased until this year, are nice instrumental jams. -

Edited 9 months agoNice job on the remix, Alex! I’m waiting for a replacement because of some pretty noticeable noise at the end of two sides but otherwise it sounds great. Nice roomy soundstage that truly compliments the layers of guitars that he stripped out. Nice bass and overall placement.
UPDATE: Well heck… got the replacement but there’s still some noise at the end of the same two sides. I would call it non-fill but I think that’s typically at the lead-in not the lead-out, right? Anyway, that’s what it sounds like. It’s not horrible but is definitely noticeable. Don’t let it stop you from buying it if you’re a fan. -
