This 1993 Japanese edition sounds absolutely phenomenal. The audio is warm, detailed, and very musical. The wide soundstage gives every instrument its own space, and Sting’s vocals come through naturally and with depth. It features the typical Japanese pressing and mastering quality – clarity and precision at the highest level. A fantastic choice for audiophiles and collectors alike. -

This greek pressing is veeeeeery clean, feeling just a little compressed but overall sound quality is excellent. 5 stars not because it is the best pressing on earth but for a greek pressing it is more difficult to find such a good work. -

Musicisti di alto calibro partecipano alle esecuzioni: Gil Evans, Eric Clapton, Andy Summers, Mark Knopfler, Ruben Blades, Kenny Kirkland, Brandon Marsalis, Mamu Katchè, Hiram Bullock e Mark Egan. Il disco rappresenta un tentativo di fusione tra il tiepido jazz di Sting e i ritmi centroamericani.
Perle del disco “They Dance Alone”, ispirata alla guerra cilena ed il dramma dei desaparecidos con un andamento quasi religioso e la magnifica cover hendrixiana “Litthe Wing”. -
Sting - Police, schnell ist eine falsche Spur gelegt, diese LP ist einfach nur gut von so vielen Stilen der Musik belebt, und Sting schafft es die Vielfälligtkeit zu vereinen. Pressung sehr gut. -

I agree with the comments below. Great sonics; great album. I have a few others that make you wonder whether 180g makes a difference other than to prevent warping.

The remarkable sound quality of these slender LPs is astounding. Albums such as this demonstrate why I remain unconvinced by the "Pressed on 180g vinyl" marketing tactic; it appears to have no significant impact on the sound of a record. It may offer a slight advantage in preventing warping, but that's the sole benefit I can even think of. The sound of this Canadian pressing is exceptionally good. -
Sounds very great with very minimal noise but packaging is meh. Not a huge fan of shoving two LPs into one sleeve
