Nice bit of disc rot kicking in on this one for me. Oxidising around the outer edges where it’s been handled.
I’ve got thousands of cd’s and this is the first I’ve had do this.
I bought it new in the late 80’s and a favourite album so would have been handled a lot for about 25 years before I got back into my vinyl.

This pressing sounds great and is not to be confused with the recent unofficial pressing below that is nearly identical. Dont be fooled!

Carefully take out the booklet, it lies tight and deep, you can tear the cover.
the sound is good, the album is full of energy and it feels.

Mines a touch warpy.
Might look worse than it is because of the colored vinyl. Tonearm doesn’t travel very much.
Great press for all of us dummies that sold our old ones for whatever depraved reason.

This thing sounds great! Some cool extras inside as well. Mine had a good bit of static so proceed with caution. Otherwise totally worth the money.

My memories of the original Stiff album are of a thin sounding, vicious, garage punk affair. Easily as essential as the Clash and Buzzcocks debuts. Two classic singles and a bunch of fantastic punk blasts designed to make you jump up and down.
This reissue is great. Its got a bit more bottom end than the original but not so much it alters the original intent. Its great to be able to switch the volume up, throw my zimmer frame to the floor, and make its 1977 again.

Avoid this release. Not sure what went wrong here. No stereo image, no highs. The cymbals are buried in the mix. Poor sound quality sucks the energy out of the music.
