Besides any quality issues: Who had the dumb idea of leaving out half of "Mrs. Sadie Adler, Widow"?! It's one of the best tracks on the entire soundtrack, and it's lacking the best part of it!
-
Recently and suddenly a bunch of copies appeared for sale for around 35 bucks. Bought a new copy on Amazon UK just a few days ago. Has there been a restock or is this just coincidence?
-
The sound quality here isn't the best, but it doesn't sound as bad as I've heard others say. It's fairly quiet, but it doesn't seem that they put as much effort in the mix/master as they did for the Red records.
-
Purchase new/sealed from Amazon & all sides are flawless on my copy. If you're lucky enough to get a clean copy this is an amazing score, especially if you're a big fan of the game itself. A bit obsessed, myself!
-
Wet cleaned before playing. Flat and mostly quiet save for some of the quieter parts and then just minor surface noise that dissipated with subsequent plays. Not much to complain about if you clean it properly first and play it a couple times. I didn't experience the problems on disc 2 that others are reporting. YMMV.

I seem to be the only person with a almost great sounding copy. Few skips on side C but after cleaning they were much less noticeable. virtually silent on the quieter tracks
-
Edited 4 years agoI can't believe how bad this pressing is, the score itself is beautiful but ruined by this awful pressing/master, such a shame that this will probably never get a repress

The first vinyl play mostly fine, but the second one (with my fav songs on it otherwise it won't be fun) is a disgrace and a nightmare to play, it skip, clip, has surface noise and all the collection from a terrible pressing. I've never heard a mint LP this bad. The very very end of the side D has one skip that so crazy never had something like this before, just listen by yourself : https://streamable.com/4gz8g7?fbclid=IwAR0eu91dvAmqR2tDTGvKV-EMwQAspkONgPqXbLdtjUgd5z74D4E7R4mW-y4 -
My side C was complete garbage, a rough ride for the needle with skips, clips, and a ton of repetitive surface noise. Upon closer inspection I noticed that this side had some kind of spotty residue on it. I pulled it back from the brink with several cleanings. Still noisy and a few skips but much more listenable. I recommend you clean these records first thing before you do anything if you have the equipment.

both of my records are badly warped but somehow play o.k as long as i cue it up manually, but due to the warpage are basically worthless.
