Notes
Human is the fourth studio album by American Death metal band Death, released on October 22, 1991, by Relativity Records. The album marked the beginning of a major stylistic change for Death, being more technically complex and progressive than the band's previous efforts. The lyrics are more introspective when compared to the gore-based lyrics of Scream Bloody Gore and Leprosy or the social commentary on Spiritual Healing. This new style would continue to evolve on all following Death albums. This is the only Death-album to feature guitarist Paul Masvidal, drummer Sean Reinert and the first to feature bassist Steve DiGiorgio.

Awesome pressing, clear and crisp sound, no noise, bass guitar and drums/cymbal dynamics are incredible -
One of the few remasters that make sense. Especially the bass sound is so much better than on the original LP/CD.

Flat and quiet. Press is dynamic and full. The guitar work on this album is phenomenal. Mastering captured all of the brutality Death brings. Definitely worth picking up.

So much has already been said about the legacy of Death and in particular Human, that it is really difficult to supplement the assessment with some qualitatively new view of the state of things. This is definitely a classic album, released in one of the best years in the history of Death Metal. The rest is history.
The next reissue is not much different from the series of numerous predecessors from Relapse, both in the most incredible poisonous chemical colors and additional prints in regular black. The mastering is the same, it has a good indicator DR13 for most tracks. The remastered version sounds quite harsh, the rhythm section consisting of drums and bass sounds excessively heavy. If we compare the album with the earlier versions, the original sounds more delicate, which is more in line with the composer's idea. The balance of instruments in this mastering is quite different, it turns out that the album sounds more punchy and attacking. Of course, you will recognize these wonderful compositions, but if you have early presses in your collection, it will take some time to get used to the sound of this version (although does the owner of the first press need this?). No matter how you conjure with the equipment, most likely this vinyl will give off a modernized low-frequency sound anyway. I don't know how utopian it sounds, but I've always wanted to hear the FDR version of this album. When the GZ media factory runs out of ideas for colors, perhaps the label will think about working on the sound once =) If only they didn't make pop-up gatefolds!
As for the design, the same booklet is from 2017 - everything is cool here as it was. The "metal cover" is just there and does not cause any special emotions. The foil surface may seem nice first two minutes, but in fact it is quite vulnerable to external influences. The choice of colors for the record is like an accident at a chemical plant. Fortunately, the record sounds great - that's the most important thing. This is a very good edition that can be recommended to those who, for some reason, missed past reprints - it is definitely not worse. For the rest, you can take the "second set", because someday a circulation of 14,000+ copies will become a very big rarity and by selling it to discogs you can buy yourself a villa on the coast.

This is the best remix and remaster of an older album that I've heard yet! You can really hear all the details in the drums and bass guitar now. Absolutely a MUST have if you grew up with this one! I'd on the Individual Though Patterns remaster though, not nearly as good and honestly, it doesn't need a remaster.

Just like all
The other pressings of
This since 2017, it sounds crushing. Dead quiet and the music jumps off the vinyl. -
-
Very Bass heavy mix some will like it others wont but dialing in a good sound for me meant just turning down the bass about 25% overall good pressing.

That is probably a russian bootleg and not a misprint.
